I am looking for a pet sitter- a company, not an individual, to watch my 2 dogs over holidays. Any reccommendations on reliable sitter?

How do I know my kittens will respond to a new pet sitter?

We have two kittens age 6 and 8 months, we let out during the day and bring in at night.

How can we know a new pet sitter can get them in and out?

Even with a initial, getting-to-know, the new pet sitter, I don't know if just one visit helps.

If you all are saying keep them in, then I'm in full agreement; longer than three days they will go crazy, I'm talking about a week at a time.

You are taking a real risk with this situation. Especially if they are missing you and might prefer to look for you instead of returning to the sitter. As a pet sitter of many years, I would not take on this job unless I could keep them inside. Otherwise, harness train them in advance & have the sitter take them ouside for a set period each day. that's about as close as you can safely get to what they are accustomed to when you are home. Kudos to you for thinking this through before you go. You want your babies safely waiting for you when you return!
