tips on how to make my dog to stop biting?

we have a dog called a vizla and it wont stop biting! I watched a video on training dogs and that didn't work, i read a book on how to stop a dog from biting, and that barely worked, we even went to a training person to make it stop! we do what the girl told us to do but it just makes our dog frustrated and makes her bite even more!
