What do they do with dogs at places like Petsmart day care service?

We're moving in a few days and we don't want our dog to be in the way so my mom is gonna leave him at Petsmart for the day to get groomed and also to stay there until we're done moving. But I'm a bit skeptical about it. I really hope they don't just stick him in a crate for 8 hours and make him miserable, but my mom already made the appointment.

I would also go there ahead of time and check it out in person. Looks like the dogs are allowed play time with the other dogs and they have a nice little room where they stay, not in a crate. They even have a special "relief" room.

Is it okay to leave my dog at the dog-caring service?

The family will be going on a vacation soon and we have to friends that are able to look after our dog.
I'm really unsettled about this as I can't bear leaving the dog behind. Would it be okay for the dog-caring service to look after her? Any special precautions need to be taken?

We're trying to hurry up this outing but I think it may be for 1-2 weeks (at most).

Yes , you should leave it in the dog-caring service if you have no other options. If any of your relatives have any dogs , you can ask he/she to help you take care of it. Hope i helped.
