Are Boarding kennels bad for dogs?

We have never boarded a dog before and have heard really bad things about boarding kennels.

Like all these others I agree and think obviously it depends on the facility. Go and check out several in your area. They should be clean and well it, sanitary and well ventilated. A quality kennel will invite you to come and look around as well as be able to provide you with contacts for other satisfied clients. There should be sizable kennels and bedding in the individual stalls as well as large exercises areas. Make sure your kennel requires all boarders to have current vaccinations as well. If everything seems in good condition, chances are it is a good kennel. Ask at some of the smaller pet food stores or pet boutiques, they usually can refer you to several quality places.

Has anyone tried dog boarding kennels in Manchester?

im going to have to put my dog in kennels 4 a week and just wonderd if anyone no,s of a good 1 that they have tried?
